Haven Student Services helps small and rural school districts meet IEP requirements by placing licensed occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists remotely with a simple, affordable, and supportive process.

Many rural school districts struggle to recruit and retain occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists for part-time needs. When in-person hiring isn’t feasible, students still require support, and districts are still responsible for meeting IEP requirements.Haven Student Services connects districts with licensed, experienced therapists who can provide consistent, remote support without the cost or complexity of traditional staffing models.
Haven makes it easy for school districts to access licensed therapists for fractional and part-time needs. We manage sourcing, licensing coordination, and matching so your team can stay focused on students.Your journey with Haven:

Who we work with

You're balancing caseloads, compliance, and staffing gaps, often with limited time and options. Haven helps you fill coverage quickly with licensed clinicians who understand IEP requirements and district workflows.

When you need 5–20 hours of OT, SLP, or related services, full-time hires don’t make sense, and traditional agencies are often too rigid. Haven provides right-sized support that fits your actual student needs, budget, and calendar.

We connect licensed clinicians with school partnerships that value flexibility, professional respect, and real impact. Work remotely, choose your caseload, and support students who truly need you.

My name is Anne Reed, MS, OTR/L. I founded Haven after working in rural school systems and seeing firsthand how difficult it can be for smaller communities to access consistent special education support.I was raised in a small town in Southeast Alaska, where community, relationships, and access to opportunity truly matter. Those values shaped both my work as an occupational therapist and the way Haven was built. While working in rural schools, I recognized a growing need for flexible, fractional OT and SLP services. Many districts need part-time support but face limited hiring options. Haven was created to bridge that gap and help schools provide reliable services to the students who need them.Every child deserves access to the tools and support required to thrive. Haven exists to make that access possible, regardless of geography.
